Asher Afriat is the founder and President of Israel Seminar Group, and the driving force behind it. An avid storyteller, he is considered one of Israel’s most prominent guides, informal educators and advocates, integrating in-depth experience with a strong sense of service. His talent lies in his ability to make the beauty and complexity of Israel accessible to any visitor who wants to experience it first-hand. Moran Horwitz
Moran was born and raised in the southern city of Sderot. After her military service, she moved to Beer Sheva to earn her degree in economics and accounting from Ben Gurion University of the Negev. She then relocated to Tel Aviv to begin her professional career as an intern at PWC. Prior to joining Israel Seminar, Moran served as Manager of Financial Systems for one of the largest supermarket chains in Israel. Today she manages the company as CEO while also being a devoted mother of two.

Shilgit Miara
A true Israeli, Shilgit was born and raised in this country and would rather live nowhere else. Tourism has always been her passion, and her unique name and charming personality make her unforgettable. Implementing her extraordinary social skills and vast experience, Shilgit is a true multi-tasker, ensuring that each and every client is fully satisfied and as passionate about Israel as she is. She speaks fluent French, Spanish, and English, and is a proud mother of three.

Shani Marciano Sade
Shani, mother of three, is a born and raised Israeli from Holon. After completing her 3.5 years of military service as an education officer, she joined the Jewish Agency and instructed in American summer camps for two consecutive years. She later earned a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and East Asia Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Wanting to reconnect more deeply with Israel, she joined a special training program sponsored by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism and Birthright to become a licensed tour guide. For over a decade, Shani has been helping visitors experience Israel through her unique perspective and vast expertise, planning and executing countless journeys that leave lasting impressions. At Israel Seminar, she serves as Director of Content, designing the experiences that shape each client’s visit.

Noga Ivgi
Noga was born and raised in Jerusalem and now lives in Tel Aviv. With a background in tourism and hospitality and a B.A. in Behavioral Sciences, she is dedicated to creating meaningful and personalized travel experiences. A passionate traveler, Noga enjoys meeting new people and exploring different cultures, which inspires the way she leads and builds connections. As Chief Operating Officer at Israel Seminar, she oversees the Client Success team, ensuring seamless operational processes and nurturing strong client relationships.

Yula Falko
Yula made Aliya to Israel with her family in 1999 and has lived in Bat Yam ever since. In 2004 she completed her bookkeeping certification course and has since built a career dedicated to precision and organization in finance. At Israel Seminar, Yula is responsible for overseeing the company’s entire bookkeeping operations. Outside of work, she enjoys classical music, painting, watching ballet, listening to audiobooks, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Michal Aharoni Nutkis
As a young adult, Michal joined delegations to summer camps in the US on behalf of the Jewish Agency. Later, she moved south to Be’er Sheva, where she completed a bachelor’s degree in Israel Studies from Ben-Gurion University and began her career in tourism, working mainly with Jewish youth from the US. Her next stop was Jerusalem, where she spent several years in incoming tourism while earning her master’s degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from Ben-Gurion University. Today, she lives in Kfar Saba, her hometown, with her husband and baby daughter.

Rena was born in Toronto, Canada and grew up in Jerusalem.
For over ten years, she has dedicated herself to the tourism industry, creating unforgettable journeys for a diverse clientele.
She holds an M.A. in Nonprofit Management and began her career in the nonprofit sector before turning to travel.
She lives in a small town with her husband and two sons.

Shani Weitzman Zini
Shani Weitzman Zini was born and raised in the desert city of Arad, in Israel’s south. She holds a B.A. degree in Behavioral Sciences and has always been passionate about people, cultures, and exploring the world. Her professional journey began in the IDF, where she served as a Mashakit Aliyah (Immigration NCO), teaching Hebrew and providing training for new immigrants from all over the world. This experience sparked her love for connecting with people across cultures and supporting their journeys.Drawn by her passion for travel and meaningful human connections, Shani found her path in the tourism industry. Outside of work, Shani loves discovering new places, meeting people from diverse backgrounds, and sharing her enthusiasm for Israel with visitors from around the globe.

Liron Shemesh
Liron has lived in the center of Israel her entire life, and after her military service, she became a Jewish Agency emissary, where she first experienced the powerful bond between Diaspora Jewry and Israel. Motivated by a deep commitment to strengthening the State of Israel, she pursued studies in Political Science and International Relations, and in recent years worked with government ministries and local municipalities. She joined Israel Seminar to help preserve and nurture the vital connection between the Jewish world and Israel, especially during these challenging times, through meaningful, engaging, and memorable experiences. Her love for traveling in Israel and abroad deeply enriches her work, allowing her to create authentic and inspiring experiences for others. Danielle Shfran
Danielle Shafran lives in Mazkeret Batya, holds a BA in Economics and Management and an MBA in Business Administration. She served as a Public Relations Officer in the Israeli Air Force, where she held a commanding position and gained valuable experience in communication and leadership. Danielle brings her professionalism and passion for people to every project she takes on. She has a deep love for travel and enjoys exploring new places, meeting people from around the world, and discovering different cultures.

Amit Tamir
Amit was born in San Diego, California. Her family returned to Israel shortly after and has lived ever since in a small moshav called Magshimim. As soon as she set foot in the country, she fell in love with it. During her military service, she served in the Air Force as director of an operations room, where for two years she was responsible for overseeing the air and ground fields of the Nevatim air base (the F-35 planes). Today, alongside her role as a Client Success Manager at Israel Seminar, Amit is pursuing a Law and Government degree at Reichman University. She brings the same passion and dedication to her studies as she does to her work, striving to share her enthusiasm for Israel and its rich beauty and history with every client.

Her professional journey began during her military service in the IDF, where she served as a combat medic – a role that taught her responsibility, resilience, and how to stay calm under pressure. Music has always been a core part of who she is. In her free time she likes playing classical piano music- a discipline that demands precision, dedication, and emotional depth.
